Vendor Paperwork Requirements — Feb 22, 2026
URGENT NOTICE — READ BEFORE YOU START

Oceanside Unified School District (OUSD) requires vendor paperwork on file to be approved to vend. If your paperwork is missing or incorrect, your vendor space may be forfeited.

Submit your documents ASAP so they can be uploaded to OUSD for approval.

DEADLINE

Deadline to submit Certificate of Insurance (COI) and Health Permits (Food Vendors): Monday, February 2, 2026.

Do not wait until the last minute — processing can take time, and late paperwork may miss the deadline.

STEP 1 — IDENTIFY YOUR VENDOR TYPE

There are two vendor groups:

  • Food Vendors (San Diego County permit required)
  • Non-Food Vendors (Products + Services)
STEP 2A — FOOD VENDORS (SAN DIEGO COUNTY)

Food vendors must submit: (1) County Temporary Food Permit + (2) COI

San Diego County Temporary Food Permit (One-Time Fees)
  • Packaged Food (sealed/prepackaged): $148
  • Unpackaged/Prepared Food (open food, serving/cooking/samples): $251
Insurance (COI)

Insurance Canopy: $50

Organizer: Brandon Bornes
Organizer Permit Application #: DEH2026-FTEO-008778 (issued the day of the event)
Note: Each food vendor must still obtain their own county permit/approval.
STEP 2B — NON-FOOD VENDORS (PRODUCTS + SERVICES)

Non-food vendors must submit: (1) COI

Insurance (COI)

Insurance Canopy: $50

STEP 3 — COI REQUIREMENTS (ALL VENDORS)
Required Limits
  • General Liability: $1,000,000 per occurrence
  • Aggregate: $2,000,000 minimum
Certificate Holder + Additional Insured

COI must list Oceanside Unified School District as Certificate Holder and Additional Insured.

*Must include the Additional Insured endorsement page (not only “shown on certificate”).
